Dr Jim Lello
has been practicing in Family Medicine since 1988. He attended both Auckland and Otago Universities completing medical degrees in 1986 He completed postgraduate training in community paediatrics in 1990. He had postgraduate research training at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore and has practiced clinical medicine in Australia, Vanuatu and New Zealand. Dr Barry Gribben
Dr Gribben has been in clinical practice since 1987. He is locally educated and gained his medical degree at Auckland University School of Medicine. He worked as a GP in South Auckland for 15 years before pursuing his interests in health services research. During this time he gained his fellowship in General Practice (FRNZCGP). He has spent time with the University of Auckland Department of General Practice as a senior research fellow and directed the research unit within that Department for five years. Barry is married with two children
Dr. Stephanie Das
Stephanie trained in the UK and qualified in 2006. She started professional work in NZ 9 years ago. She had significant experience as a surgical registrar in Auckland Palmerston North and Christchurce before settling in Auckland with her family. Stephanie was drawn to General Practice while undertaking her Masters degree in 2014. She completed her full Fellowship in Family Medicine in 2016. She believes that primary prevention is the way forward. Stephanie has special interests in otolaryngology and women's health and is an accredited provider for pipelle and Mirena insertion under the CMDHB menorrhagia pathway. Her other interests are accident care, dermoscopy and skin cancer diagnosis and surgical procedures.
Monique Pearce RN M HSci.
Monique joined the nursing team in May 2010. She obtained her Bachelor of Nursing in Auckland (MIT) after working as a medical laboratory technician at Middlemore Hospital. She is married with two school aged children.
Alice Dawson RN:
Alice joined the practice in January 2017. She graduated from AUT in 2015 and has completed a Postgraduate certificate in clinical nursing. Alice has been working on the renal and stroke wards at North Shore hospital since graduating and is broadening her nursing role in primary care.
Reception and office management staff
Mrs Lyn Coldicut
Lyn has been our senior adminitstrator since 2014. She has immense experience both in back office, training is expert in many aspects of the complex world of primary health care She is familar with the practice routines and keeps us all in line.
Bridget began as receptionist/administrator in 2016. She has a background in Health Science, medical school administration and is a qualified quantity surveyor. We are delighted that she is sharing her experience with us in back office procedures
Emma has rapidly learning the complexities of medical reception and has been doing some relieving at the practice while considering studies in Health Science. She is a local of Mt Eden, and has established herself as a cheerful and thorough worker.
